These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of creensight.uk/ and the purchase of services from Creensight Private Limited (CIN U74999GJ2020PTC114611), a private company incorporated in India in 2020 and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, with its registered office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. creensight.uk/ is the website of the UK office of Creensight Private Limited in London, United Kingdom (“Creensight UK”, “Creensight”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The UK office is not a separately incorporated UK company; it is part of Creensight Private Limited. Our global website is creensight.com. Please read them carefully before using the website, placing an order in our shop or signing a proposal with us. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms distinguish between business clients (companies, sole traders, partnerships and others acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession) and consumers (individuals acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession). Some sections apply only to one group, and nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights consumers have under UK law.

Its UK office is located in London, United Kingdom. The UK office is part of Creensight Private Limited and is not a separately incorporated UK company. 2. Using our website
2.1 Acceptable use
You may use creensight.uk/ for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- introduce malware or carry out denial-of-service or similar attacks;
- scrape the website in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems;
- use the contact form or newsletter to send spam or unlawful content;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with an organisation.
We use security tools, including Wordfence, to detect and block harmful activity. We may restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached.
2.2 Website content
Articles, guides, cost estimator results and other content on the website are general information. They are not professional advice for your specific circumstances. Please see our Disclaimer.
2.3 Availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website, for example for maintenance or security reasons.
3. Quotes, proposals and statements of work
For bespoke work we usually provide a written proposal or statement of work (“SOW”) describing the scope, deliverables, milestones, assumptions, timeline and price. A contract is formed when both parties sign or accept the proposal or SOW in writing, or when you pay the first invoice under it.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Estimates, including those from our online cost estimator, are indicative only and are not offers.
- If the SOW conflicts with these Terms, the SOW takes priority for that project.
- Changes to scope must be agreed in writing through a change request, which may change the price and timeline.
4. Orders through our online shop
4.1 How the contract is formed
Our shop lists fixed-scope service packages. When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We send an automatic acknowledgement email, which does not mean we have accepted your order. The contract is formed when we confirm acceptance by email or begin work, whichever is earlier. We may decline an order, for example if the package does not suit your requirements or we cannot deliver it, in which case we will refund any payment in full.
4.2 Kick-off
After accepting an order we will contact you to arrange a kick-off call and gather the information we need. Delivery timelines in package descriptions start from the date we receive the content, access and approvals we need from you.
4.3 Package descriptions
Each package page explains what is included. Anything not listed is outside the package and can be quoted separately.
5. Prices, VAT and payment
- Prices on creensight.uk/ are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
- VAT is charged where applicable. Where VAT applies, the amount is shown on the invoice. For business clients, VAT treatment depends on your status and location and may be accounted for under the reverse-charge rules where they apply.
- Shop orders are paid in full at checkout through our payment provider unless the package page says otherwise.
- For bespoke projects we usually invoice by milestones, or monthly in advance for dedicated developer engagements. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless the SOW says otherwise.
- For business clients, we may charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 and may pause work if invoices remain unpaid after a reminder.
- Prices do not include third-party costs such as hosting, domains, app store fees, paid software licences or AI provider usage fees unless stated.
6. Your right to cancel (consumers only)
If you are a consumer and you buy a service from us at a distance (for example through our shop or by email), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is formed, without giving a reason.
- To cancel, email [email protected] with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, your name and your order number.
- If you asked us to start work during the 14-day period and then cancel, you must pay a proportionate amount for the services provided up to the time you told us you were cancelling.
- If the service has been fully performed within the cancellation period at your express request and you acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once the service was fully performed, the right to cancel no longer applies.
- We will refund any amount due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision, using the same payment method.
Business clients do not have a statutory right to cancel. Cancellation for business clients is governed by section 13 and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Your responsibilities
To deliver on time and to the agreed quality, we rely on you to:
- provide accurate information, content, feedback and approvals promptly;
- give us access to systems, accounts and environments we reasonably need;
- make sure that any material you supply (text, images, data, trademarks) does not infringe anyone’s rights and that you have a lawful basis to share any personal data with us;
- nominate a contact person who can make decisions on your behalf.
If delays or inaccurate information on your side affect the work, we may adjust timelines and, where significant extra effort is needed, the price, after discussing it with you.
8. Our commitments and standard of service
We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill, using appropriately experienced people, and in accordance with the agreed specification. For consumers, this reflects the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which also requires that any information we give you about the service that you take into account is binding, and that services are performed within a reasonable time where no time is agreed.
8.1 Warranty period
For software we develop, we fix defects that cause the delivered work to depart materially from the agreed specification if you report them within 30 days of delivery or go-live, at no extra cost. Defects caused by changes made by others, third-party services, hosting environments outside our control or misuse are not covered. Ongoing support after the warranty period is available under a separate maintenance plan.
8.2 Consumers’ statutory remedies
If you are a consumer and the service is not performed with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to ask us to repeat or fix it or, if that is not possible, to a price reduction. These rights are in addition to anything in these Terms. For detailed information, contact Citizens Advice.
9. Intellectual property
- On receipt of full payment of all amounts due for a project or package, we assign to you the intellectual property rights in the bespoke deliverables we create specifically for you, such as custom source code, designs and written content.
- We keep ownership of our pre-existing materials, internal tools, libraries, know-how and generic components. Where these are included in deliverables, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them as part of the deliverables.
- Open-source software is licensed under its own licence terms, which we will identify on request.
- Third-party products, such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and APIs, are subject to their providers’ terms.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may mention your organisation’s name as a client and describe the work in general terms, without disclosing confidential information.
The content of creensight.uk/, including text, layout and graphics, belongs to Creensight Private Limited or its licensors. Images credited on our Image Credits page are used under their open licences.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential any information disclosed by the other that is marked confidential or would reasonably be regarded as confidential, and will use it only for the purposes of the contract. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed or must be disclosed by law. We are happy to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement before you share sensitive details.
11. Data protection
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of a project, we will enter into a data processing agreement that meets Article 28 of the UK GDPR, including terms on international transfers to India.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 What we do not exclude
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects consumers’ statutory rights.
12.2 Business clients
Subject to section 12.1, if you are a business client:
- we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
- our total liability arising out of or in connection with a contract, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total fees paid by you under that contract in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12.3 Consumers
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, and we do not supply services for business purposes to consumers, so we are not liable to consumers for business losses.
13. Termination
- Either party may end a contract by written notice if the other commits a material breach and fails to remedy it within 14 days of being asked to do so.
- Business clients may end a dedicated developer engagement with 30 days’ written notice after any agreed minimum term.
- On termination, you must pay for work performed and expenses incurred up to the termination date. We will hand over completed work that has been paid for.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law, continue to apply.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, government action, widespread internet or power failures, or failures of third-party platforms. We will tell you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact. If such an event lasts longer than 30 days, either party may end the affected contract by written notice.
15. Non-solicitation (business clients)
During a project and for 6 months after it ends, business clients agree not to directly employ or engage any Creensight team member who worked on the project without our prior written consent. If this happens, a recruitment fee equal to three months of that person’s last fees charged to you will be payable. This does not restrict anyone from responding to a general job advertisement.
16. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please email [email protected] with the subject “Complaint”. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts; if you live in Northern Ireland, in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
18. General
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order or sign a proposal applies to that contract.
- If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- A failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
- No third party has a right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
- You may not transfer your rights under a contract without our consent. We may transfer our rights to another company in our group, and will tell you if we do.
